Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University and the head of Leaders Selection Committee held the meeting of the committee to select a dean for Applied Arts Faculty. The committee included Dr. El Sayed El Qady, the previous president of Benha University, Dr. Munir Hassan Munir, the emeritus professor at Faculty of Applied Arts and in presence of Dr. Shabaan Taha, the previous vice of Benha University and Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, the previous vice of Benha University.
. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy emphasized that Benha University is keen on selecting its deans according to the set standards of efficiency and neutrality.

Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University announced that Benha University has extended applying for the submitted scholarships for master and PhD students' form Chinese Universities such as Wuhan University, Xi'an University - Central China University and Wuhan Technology University.
. El Gizawy said that these scholarships comes in the frame of the signed cooperation protocol among Benha University and the Chinese Universities for researchers of master and doctoral at the following faculties; Engineering , Science , agriculture , Medicine , Veterinary Medicine , Computers and Commerce. The last date for Applying is at 1122021.

Benha University has realized a new achievement and distinction for the first time according to Web metrics ranking where it ranked in the category 1515 among 31,000 University globally. Benha University has ranked 24 among 1216 University in the Arab World. In Africa, Benha University has ranked 26 from 1907 University and it has ranked 8 among Egypt's public and private universities that have been ranked in this edition.
Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting President of Benha University said that Benha University has achieved a great progress at the openness and ranked 113 and it has also achieved progress at Excellence programs and ranked 112. In the same context, Dr.Shady El Mashad, the manager of E-portal said that the University has been ranked 4,832 globally according to Impact ranking where it achieved progress 61 place rather than July ranking 2020. Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University announced about opening the door to apply for the new course of International Publication and Citations Rewards, January 2021 which will be started from Monday, January 08, 2021 for two months
. He added that the papers accepted in this course are those that were published during the years 2019 and 2020, and have not been submitted during the previous courses and the number of citations will be calculated based on the last 5 years, according to the declared calculations of faculty member on Google Scholar; referring that anyone who has a Google Scholar account for paper that does not belong to him or who submitted research previously paid financial rewards for it in previous courses, will be blocked from the rewards of the University 's programs for researches support. https://bu.edu.eg/e-services/BU_SRS_Program.php
